With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Crafton of Shipman, Illinois, born in Greenfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Raymond Crafton and Elsie Lovena McElroy (Lewis); his stepfather Wayne McElroy; and his brothers, Charles Bud Crafton, Carl Crafton and Earl Ray Crafton.
He is survived by: his children, Earl Scott (Kelly Crafton), Cindy (Mike Larson) and Mary Beth (Michael Johann); his grandchildren, Nathan Rogers of Brighton, Levi (Leslie Rogers), Kyle (Emily Crafton), Kendall Crafton of Godfrey, Nicole (Brandon Baker), Caleb Crafton of East Alton, Ryan Johann of Columbia and J. D. Crafton of Godfrey; his stepgranddaughter Alyssa Hicks; his great grandchildren, Morgan Rogers and Evie Crafton; his great great grandchildren, Lily Baker and Lynnon Fernandez; and his sister Barbara Kesinger of Roodhouse. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
