It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Allen of Shipman, Illinois, born in Jerseyville, Illinois, who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Krause and Hazel Krause (Crotchett); her spouse Francis Darrell Allen; her daughter Terrill Allen (Loretta Krause); her parents-in-law, Earl and Opal Allen; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Ketchum, Donald Allen (Delene) and Mary Lou Thomae.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Allen (Pam) of Shipman, Darren Allen (Kathy Goodman) and Tamara Allen of Shipman; her grandchildren, Ryan Petroline (Katelyn), Tyler Allen and Julie Cunningham (Steven); her great grandchildren, Aubree Cunningham and Amelia Petroline; and her brother-in-law Eugene Thomae. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Shipman.
