He is survived by: his mother-in-law Sherryl Robinson; his children, Heidi Yount (Richard) of Girard, Toby O'Donnell (Shandel) of Hillsboro and William Thompson (Erika) of Carlinville; his siblings, Gena Ober (Randy), Diane Eichen, Keith O'Donnell, Ben O'Donnell and Shannon O'Donnell (Diane); and his wife Sherryl O'Donnell. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
