He was predeceased by: his parents, George McKenzie and Pearl Boyd McKenzie; his wife Yvonne Jeanette McKenzie (Gray); his daughters, Anita Jans and Juanita Boyd; and his brothers, George McKenzie and John McKenzie.
He is survived by: his sons, Lewis McKenzie of Shipman, IL and James McKenzie of Point Pleasant, WV; his grandchildren, Crystal Peper, Sam Boyd, Robert Jett, Candy Jett Roetto, Deanette Jett, Lewis Gray McKenzie, Christina L. McKenzie, Jennifer McKenzie, James McKenzie and Joseph McKenzie; his great grandchildren, Alyshia Peper, Matthew Peper and Bella Boyd; and his sister Erma McKenzie.
