With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hubert E. Watt of Shipman, Illinois, born in Hartford, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert E. Watt and Virginia Watt (Bane); his wife Diana Wimberly; his son Anthony Ross Watt; his sister Sue Ellen Page; and his former wife Louise Richards (Hill).

He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Eugene Watt of Brighton and Robert Eric Watt (Dorothy) of Rosewood Heights; his stepchildren, Monica Edwards of East Alton, Jessie Hicks (Danny) of Warrenton, MO and Michael Hettick of Corpus Christi, TX; and his siblings, Virginia Howard of Excelsior Springs, MO and Stephen David Watt (Pamela) of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
