It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Greta Faye Calvin of Shipman, Illinois, born in Freeman Spur, Illinois, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William E. Johnson; her son Dennis Calvin; her siblings, Genevieve M. Fanning, Shirley A. Elliston, William G. Johnson, Lloyd R. Johnson and Richard L. Johnson; and her great grandchild Gentry Dierking.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Dean Calvin; her daughters, Debbie Cameron (Ronald) and Darlene Badgley (Dennis) of Shipman; her grandchildren, Amanda Kroeschel (DJ), Amy Dunsing (Jake), Alex Calvin (Rachel), Chris Cameron (Francie), Valerie Kohlrus (Mike), Terry Crawford and Barb Rawlings (Ron); her daughter-in-law Sharon Hess; and her siblings, Mona Rae Knox and Jerry L. Johnson (Sharion). She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Greta's name may be made to The American Cancer Society or The American Heart Association.
