With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald A. Heyen Sr. of Shipman, Illinois, who passed away on January 31, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Heyen and Louise Heyen (Brown); his grandson Adam Heyen; and his siblings, Howard Heyen, Ruby Gentry and Arlene Watson.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Crays; his children, Susan Heyen of Godfrey, Gerald Heyen Jr. (Pam) of Columbia, MO and Eddie Heyen of Plainview; his grandchildren, Josh Heyen, Jacob Heyen (Christina), Jessica Heyen (Taylor) and Evelyn Heyen; and his great grandchildren, Kyzer Heyen and Emma Heyen.

Memorials may be made to Shipman Methodist Church.
