He was predeceased by: his parents, George Krause and Emma Lou Krause (Hagen); and his brothers, Harry, Clarence and Fred Krause.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Krause (Simmermaker); his children, Dennis Krause (Penny) of Bethalto, Sharon Quirk (Paul) of Shipman, Tena Krause of Chatham and Eldon Krause (Susan) of Brighton; and his grandchildren, Christy Darr (Chucker), Amy Hall (Ted), Tiffany Wagener (Eric), Lisa Amick (Matt), Alisha Powell (David) and Eldon Krause (Bailey).
