He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl F. Allen and Opal E. Allen (Alward); his daughter Terrill Allen; his siblings, Mary Lou Thomae and Donald Allen (Delene); his parents-in-law, Fred and Hazel Krause; and his siblings-in-law, Loretta Krause and Robert Ketchum.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Krause; his children, Dean Allen (Pam) of Shipman, Darren Allen (Kathy Goodman) of Shipman and Tamara Allen of Shipman; his grandchildren, Ryan Petroline of Alton, Tyler Allen of Shipman and Julie Cunningham (Steven) of Medora; his great grandchildren, Aubree Cunningham and Amelia Petroline; and his brother-in-law Eugene Thomae. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Shipman.
