With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald D. Gwillim of Shipman, Illinois, born in White Hall, Illinois, who passed away on December 18, 2022 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald D. Gwillim to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Estella C. Gwillim (Clower) and Arthur H. Gwillim; his wife Marian Lowis; his son Jerry Gwillim; his grandson Jeremy Gwillim; and his siblings, Bernice Lahr (Winfred) and Dale Gwillim.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Gwillim (Melea) of Shipman, Diana Brueggemann (David) of Alton and James Gwillim (Kathleen) of Shipman; and his brother-in-law William Lowis (Ina). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church to be used for purchasing a new piano.
