It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian G Cottingham in Shipman, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2021, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Edward Noel; his grandparents, Leonard Cottingham, James Holland, Ralph Noel and Freddie Mae Noel; and his aunt Lela Groves.

He is survived by: his mother Arvella Noel (Cottingham); his close friend Katie Talley; his daughter Carly Cottingham; his stepdaughters, Alexandria Gibson and Shelby Behnen; his grandmother Delores Holland; and his uncle Denver Groves. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
