We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Wesley Schmalz Jr. of Sherrard, Illinois, born in Davenport, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Schmalz and Edith Schmalz (Toft); and his sister Sheryl. He is survived by: his former wife Trudy Laamberton; his wife Grace Keys (Coradi) of Sherrard; his daughter Andrea Sanderlin (Charlie) of Myrtle Beach; his stepchildren, Tom Keys (Lynne) of Murfreesboro, Jerry Keys (Patti) of Woodward, Helen Woodard (Danny) of Bellevue and Leo Keys (Veronika) of Easton; and his siblings, Eleanor Barker of Eureka and John Schmalz of Princeton, Iowa.. He is also survived by three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren, 8 step-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Genesis Cancer Center in Silvis, Illinois or to Genesis Hospice.
