It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Eckstein of Sherrard, Illinois, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eckstein and Mary Gamble Eckstein; his wife Opal Coleman; and his children, Kathy and Randy Lee.
He is survived by: his son Richard Eckstein; his grandchildren, Britt Houdyshell (Joe) of Palm Harbor, Fla., Cameron Eckstein and Austin Eckstein of St Petersburg, Fla.; his great grandchildren, Maeson, Hanna and Jaxson; and his sister Janice Johnson.
