He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Eva Mae Horton (Lovelett); his wife Evelyn Iona Romine; his sons, Kenneth and Charles Horton; and his siblings, Jack, Billy, Tommy, Betty and Shirley.
He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Teresa Horton-Bumgarner and Jennifer Horton-Richardson; his grandchildren, Gina, Sarah, Allison, Brittany, Charles and Nicholas; and his sisters, Carol Cain and Sandra Compton.
