He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester "Lobby" Mooers and Agnes O'Brien Mooers; his grandson Matthew Mooers; his daughter-in-law Eileen Mooers; and his brother Wayne Mooers.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie of Sherrard; his children, Kevin Mooers (Judy) of Lottsburg, VA, Carrie Weihler (Victor) of Sherrard, IL and Neil Mooers of Delafield, WI; his grandchildren, Laura Ford (Denis), Jeff Mooers, Jamisue Plucinski (Mike), Stuart Weihler, Andrew Weihler (Lexi), Kara Meyer (Jamey), Michelle Eddy (Travis), Annika Wilson (Nathan), Kathryn Mooers and Rachel Daniels (Tim); and his brother Jerry Mooers (Janice). He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Boys Town, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Women's Choice Center, Bettendorf.
