With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Sloan of Sherrard, Illinois, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on December 20, 2020 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Sloan to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Blaser and Nathalie Blaser (Ross); and her husband Earl V. Sloan Jr.. She is survived by: her children, David Sloan, Dianne Hicks, Davenport and Steven Sloan Sherrard (Becky); her grandchildren, Benjamin Kiefer, Des Moines, Justin Sloan, Michael Sloan, Laurel, MD, Michelle Dallas, Sarah Hicks, Rachel Hicks, Kierstyn, Keyton Sloan and Kirklan Sloan; and her brother Gene Blaser (Diane). She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Cable Community Church in Cable.
