He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Eugene and Dorothy Mae Kalb (Fifer); and his sister Nancy Kabat. He is survived by: his wife Janet Patkes; his children, Brian Kalb (Julia) of Edwardsville and Brenda Carter (Mike) of Sherman; and his grandchildren, Grace, Megan Kalb, Connor and Kyle Carter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
