He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen J. Gardiner and Mabel M. Gardiner (Close); his sister Sharon Mitts; his grandson Raymond Gardiner; and his daughter-in-law Vickie J. Gardiner.
He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Gardiner of Sherman; his children, Kathryn Rafferty (Dan) of LaVergne, TN, Kathleen Ervin (Dan) of Sherman and Robert Joseph Gardiner (Kelly) of Sherman; and his cousins, Dawn, Dwayne and Greg Blisset. He is also survived by six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews.
