She was predeceased by: her spouse Hardin C. Smith; her parents, Archie Cornell and Janet Cornell; and her brothers, David Parker and Danny Joe Cornell.
She is survived by: her daughter Virinda Griffitts (John) of Riverton; and her brothers, Frank Cornell (Denise), Rusty Cornell and Wade Cornell (Donna). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
