It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Catherine Collier of Sherman, Illinois, born in Panama, Illinois, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Michael Collier; her brother Wayne Slagel; her children, Patrick Collier (Gillian Hearst) of Corvallis, OR, Cynthia Laudeman (Kirk) of Sherman, Kimberly Collier of Sarasota, FL and Mary Christine Tober (Eric) of Dublin, OH; her daughter-in-law Mary Elizabeth Collier of Manteno; her siblings, Samuel Slagel of Collinsville and Janice Slagel Gieser of Hemet, CA; her sister-in-law Carolyn Slagel of Manteno; and her parents, Howard Slagel and Bessie Beckham Slagel. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many loved nieces and nephews.
