She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Maurer and Marilyn J. Maurer (Slowiak); her son Christopher J. DeSimone; her brother Richard; and her nephew Matthew Eichinger.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joseph Maurer (Liz Ciullo) of Rochester, NY and Regina (Eichinger); her niece Kathleen Eichinger (Brock Davis) of Washington, IL; her nephews, Daniel Eichinger (Amy) of Springfield, Stephen Eichinger of New York, NY, Michael Eichinger (Tiffani Allen) of Oakland, CA and Joseph Eichinger of Springfield; her cousins, Mark, Paul, Phil and Lisa; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, John, Will, Kate, Claire and Wiley.
