He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Sanders and Rose Sanders (Polakovic); his brother Jesse; his sister-in-law Patricia; and his niece Denise Line.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Deborah Gehrig (Rick) of Huntley, IL, Steve (Joanne) of Hammond, WI, David (Gina) of Huntley, IL and Patty Powers (Patrick) of Cherry Valley, IL; his siblings, Rosemary Luchsinger (John), Joe, Ron (Bonnie) and John (Jane); and his sister-in-law Sue Osbourne. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
