He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Babcock and Olive Babcock (Rosso); his wife Jo Ellyn Cline; his daughters, Connie Goddard (Jimmy) of Georgia and Cathy Miller (Tom) of Fancy Prairie; his grandchildren, Chris Matzke (Christi), Tyler Miller (Sarah) and Clayton Miller (Meghan); his nieces, Cindy Alliss and Susan Rivaitt; his grandson Matthew Matzke; and his siblings, John Babcock and Norma Teichman.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Indian Point Presbyterian Church.
