We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2020, at the age of 89, Joseph John Skerly (Sherman, Illinois), born in Bartley, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Skerly and Stella Skerly (Swinkola); his mother-in-law Martha Porter Oxford; and his sister-in-law Doris Baker. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa; his wife Margaret Porter (Bonnie); his children, Amy Skerly (Missy), Joseph Skerly Jr. (Elle) and Michael Skerly (Debbie); his granddaughters, Erin and Keryn Skerly; his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Bryan, John Bryan and John Baker; and his nephew Swinkola.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Villa Health Care East in Sherman, IL.
