He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gibson Franks and Sara Jane Franks (Irwin); and his brothers, Clifford and Charles Franks. He is survived by: his wife Joy Franks of Sherman; his children, Catherine Franks (Chad Tengler) of Springfield, Chad Franks of Springfield, Carson, Chloe Franks and Collin Franks (Valarie) of Lacon, IL; his grandsons, Cole and Caleb Franks; and his children, Branden, Travis, Eric and Joshua Kennedy. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and five nieces.
