In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Wayne had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Wayne may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Bagwill and Lois Bagwill (Claude); his daughter Pamela Morton; and his sister Trudy Oseid. He is survived by: his wife Madeline M. Willis; his daughters, Christina Bagwill of Sheridan, IL, Kimberly Bagwill (Matt Adrian) of Paso Robles, CA and Susan Dell (Pete) of Sandwich, IL; and his son-in-law Allen Morton of Sheridan, IL. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Union Congregational Church (305 S Gage St, Somonauk, IL 60552). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Olmstead Museum and Somonauk Education Foundation.
