He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Leroy Ayers and Barbara Ayers; his parents-in-law, Alva and Hallie Decker; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Decker (Marilyn) and David Meredith (Barb).
He is survived by: his wife Nina; his daughter Angela (David); his grandsons, Austin and Everett Ford; his stepgrandchildren, Emma, Christopher and Grace Smith; his brothers, Dan and Richard Ayers (Cathy); and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Decker (Jackie) and Phyllis Decker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice of Salute, Inc. or to the American Heart Association.
