Castrejon; her children, Jordan Castrejon (Whitney), Aleah Castrejon, Haley Castrejon, Brandon Castrejon and Caleb Bowling; her grandchildren, Kenton, Kyelyn, Finnley and Bryce; and her brothers, Steven Pender (LeAnn), George "Butch" Pender (Francisca), Mike Pender and Jon Pender. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

““Desi was a friend of mine as were/are the whole Pender family. During one of the lowest times in my life, the Pender family took me in as one of their very own. I had a 1 year old son and they were all so good to him but Desi and LaVeta were exceptionally kind to him. Desi was a beautiful woman and was even in a TV ad for Fuzzy Fones. I know she is heaven and that is the right place for her and all her family. God Bless all of the Penders and Caterjons. Sincerely and lovingly, Bob Shorkey””
