It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Joseph Rucker of Sheridan, Illinois, who passed away on April 1, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Rucker (Specht) and Haswell Rucker; his stepdaughter Kim Turner (Marc); his wife Marlys; his son-in-law Marc; and his sisters, Zelma Peterson (Willard) and Shirley Wicks (Robert).
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Krystal Eike (Brad) of Plainfield, IL. and Karlyn Hendrix (Jay) of Jupiter, FL.; his grandchildren, Marc Turner II (Leann) of Seattle, WA., Kara Korenic (Joe) of Milwaukee, WI., Chad Eike of Ottawa, IL., Samantha Killian (Brett) of Crown Point, IN., Joshua Hendrix and Kayla Nicolois (Frank) of Loxahatchee, FL.; his great grandchildren, Katie, Hailey, Zachary Turner, Blake, Tyler Johnson, Kiley and Antonia Killian; and his sister-in-law Darlene Smith of Marshalltown, IA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
