She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Brubaker and Emma Thalia Brubaker (Beard-Barrows); her husband Robert; her sisters, Nancy Brubaker and Mary Wells; and her grandson Stephen Poindexter Gathering.

She is survived by: her children, Todd Hartman (Margo) of Charleston, IL, Marty Hartman (Julie) of Greenville, SC, Laurie Poindexter (Roger) of Fowler, IN and Gena Hafstrom of Brook, IN; her sisters, Marjorie of Pine Grove, CA and Hix of Pine Grove, CA; her grandchildren, Josh Schufflebarger (Megan), Ian Shepard, Taylor Shepard, William Hornbuckle (Amy), Matthew Poindexter, Daniel Poindexter (Terry), Christa Karge (Christopher), Jake Hartman (Ashley) and Emma Hartman; and her great grandchildren, Tristan Brown, Josie Ray Sylvester, Adriana Gonzales, Allyson Gonzales, Eli Hornbuckle, Josie Hornbuckle, Jordyn Poindexter Saide Rae, Sara Gonzalez, David Gonzalez and Ryan Lane. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
