He was predeceased by: his father Daniel P. Claffy. He is survived by: his mother Theresa Claffy (Reyno); his daughter Heather Claffy; and his siblings, Daniel Claffy (Karen), Jefferey Claffy (Kimberly), Pamela Claffy and Lawrence Claffy (Lucyna).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baier Funeral Home (102 W Oak St, Watseka, IL 60970). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Sheldon Cemetery (1700 N 3000 East Rd, Sheldon, IL 60966).
