She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Corwin and Vera Elizabeth Bieber (Waddelow); her husband Harold T. Small; her siblings, Oral Gordon Bieber, Glen R. "Dick" Bieber and Lois Williams (Bob); and her sister-in-law Edith Joanne McGahey (Jack).

She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Auten (Brad) of Monticello, IL and Stephanie Williams (John Paul) of Mt. Zion, IL; her grandchildren, Adam Auten of San Jose, CA, Anna Auten of La Crosse, WI and Chloe Williams of Mt. Zion, IL; her sister Carolyn Vieback of Pana, IL; and her sister-in-law Mary Bieber of Lakewood, IL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be given to the Shelbyville Education Foundation for a scholarship in Wilma's name.
