He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Virginia Matheny (Holder) and Everett Matheny; his siblings, Michael E. Matheny (Brenda) and Nancy D. Daniels (Ralph); his granddaughter Hannah Wallis; and his father-in-law Norwood Rodgers.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Rodgers Pruemer; his children, Jamie Wallis (Chad) of Shelbyville, IL and Josh Matheny of Shelbyville, IL; his stepchildren, Jeff Pruemer (Casey) of Shelbyville, IL and Jill Pruemer of Shelbyville, IL; his grandchildren, Seth, Tyler, Arika Wallis and Logan Satterfield; his stepgrandchildren, Mason and Amelia Pruemer; and his mother-in-law Pat Rodgers of Carmi, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the family and mailed to the funeral home.
