She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Wilson and Fern Alma Reed, Sr. (Spannagel); her husband Russell D. Slifer; and her siblings, Nina Reed and Roy "Butch" Reed, Jr..
She is survived by: her former husband Keith F. Snyder; her children, Kendall Snyder (Deb) of Lakewood, IL, Kara Shuff of Shelbyville, IL and Kathleen Lay (Shane) of Haubstadt, IN; her stepsons, Michael Slifer (Jennifer) of Mode, IL and Brad Slifer (Christine) of Mode, IL; her grandchildren, Cody Snyder (Rachel), Autum Snyder, Trenton Shuff (KayCee), Maisie Mercer-Szady (Dakota), Alexandra Davis (Zach) and Skylar Lay; her stepgrandchildren, Justin Slifer, Kirk Slifer, Dylan Slifer, Derek Slifer, Brendan Slifer, Blake Slifer and Emma Slifer; and her great grandchildren, Camdyn Grace and Cassie Jo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Shelbyville.
