He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Runde and Elizabeth Runde (Kortte); his brother Steve; and his brother-in-law Doug Lundquist. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Patterson; his children, Matthew Runde (Tara) of Schaumburg and Macheal Thomas (Lyle) of St. James, Missouri; his granddaughters, Willa Runde of Schaumburg and Kelcie Beccue (Bryce) of Effingham; his great grandchild Connelly Beccue; and his siblings, Kathy Lundquist of Teutopolis, Judy Martin (Bill) of Teutopolis, Sue Shannon (Terry) of Teutopolis, Jerry Runde (Karen), Jeff Runde (Tonya) and Joe Runde (Jeanette).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lockart-Green Funeral Home-Shelbyville (302 W Main St, Shelbyville, IL 62565).
