It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Lepsi of Shelbyville, Illinois, born in Berwyn, Illinois, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxey E. "Gene" Smith and Marie A. Smith (Sirovatka); her sister Jeanette Pfiester; and her brother-in-law Phil Curle. She is survived by: her children, Joseph, Diane Lepsi, Sandra, Anthony Pawlisz, Maribeth and Brian Dunlap; her grandchildren, Sophia (Lester Dickinson), Thomas Pawlisz, Andrew Pawlisz, Elizabeth Pawlisz, Samuel Pawlisz and Benjamin Pawlisz; her sisters, Barbara Curle and Catherine (John Pokropinski); and her brother-in-law Randy Pfiester. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
