With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Thompson of Shelbyville, Illinois, who passed away on May 7, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Edward and Helen Mildred Barden (Canavan); her brother Ron Barden; her grandson Kevin Thompson; and her great grandchild Isaac Fry.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell G. Thompson (Linda) of Pana, IL and Marla C. Ursprung (Joseph) of Bethalto, IL; her grandchildren, Corey Fry of East Alton, IL, Dara Thompson (Jim Russell) of Pana, IL and Erika Thompson of Pana, IL; her great grandchildren, Gracie Thompson, Colin, Katie, Jackson, Rylan Davis and Rylee Fry; and her cousins, Jack Tate and Glen Canavan.
Memorials may be given to Saving Orphaned Animals, Shelbyville, IL.
