Jeannie E. Distefano Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeannie E. Distefano of Shelbyville, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond E. "Gene" Pryer and Maggie Halison (Mounds); her stepmother Geneva Pryer; and her friend Jim "Papa Onion" Young. She is survived by: her husband Mark Distefano of Groves, TX; her daughters, Marcy Bly-Moore of Eunice, LA, Brighty Bly of Shelbyville, IL and Briann Bly of Groves, TX; her brother Chris Pryer (Lisa) of Shelbyville, IL; her grandchildren, Nicole Bly, Jacy Moore, Cassie Malveaux, Blake Moore, Zachery Rasa, Zane Rasa and Zoey Bly; and her close friends, Doug Doss and Perk Wilson. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren with one on the way; several nieces and nephews.
