She is survived by: her sons, Steven Johnston (Kristin) of Shelbyville, IL, Aaron Johnston (Christy) of Springfield, IL and Eric Johnston (Megan) of Waukee, IA; her siblings, Darrell Cress (Doris) of Effingham, IL and Denise Reed of Shelbyville, IL; her close friend Earl Orsborn of Shelbyville, IL.; and her grandchildren, Dale Johnston, Kaylynne Johnston, Madeline Sue Johnston, Kate Johnston, Lexi Johnston, Beckham Johnston and Cohen Johnston.

Memorials may be given to Saving Orphaned Animals in Shelbyville or St. John's School of Nursing in Springfield.
