It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold A. Lawson of Shelbyville, Illinois, born in Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Frances Lawson (Ivy) and Harold A. Lawson, Jr.; and his stepfather Allen Stanley Avery. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue of Shelbyville; his children, Amy Lawson of Kirby, AR, Chris Armer (Sarah) of Marietta, GA and Chad Hanson (Apryl) of Stedman, NC; his brother James Lawson (Mary) of Benton, LA; and his grandchildren, Lindsey Smith, Grace Armer, Carter Hanson, Leah Armer, Jana Armer, Brynlee Hanson, Calvin Armer, Callen Hanson and Clayton Hanson.
Memorials may be given to Peggy Sue Lawson for final expenses.
