It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Ann Christner (Shelbyville, Illinois), who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe D. Christner and Emma Christner (Eigsti); and her brothers, Christy Christner (Ellen), Joe Christner Jr., Frank Christner (Sarah) and Jake Christner (Nora Jane).
She is survived by: her sisters, Barbara Hostetler of Roanoke, Emily Kennell of Sarasota, Lavina Miller (Lynn), Mary Christner and Luella Zoss (Silas); and her brothers-in-law, Ervin Hostetler and Kenneth Kennell.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Howe & Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565).
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
