He was predeceased by: his father Glen E. Fisher. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Prosser; his son Derek M. Fisher of Shelbyville, IL; and his mother Annie Fisher (Stephens) of Shelbyville, IL. He is also survived by two brothers; and two sisters.

Memorials may be given to the Shelbyville Fire Protection District for Equipment or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
