She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse I. Reed and Ruth Reed (Cress); and her sister Janice S. Johnston. She is survived by: her brother Darrell Cress (Doris) of Effingham, IL; her nephews, John Cress (Lisa) of Strasburg, IL, Steven Johnston (Kristin) of Shelbyville, IL, Aaron Johnston (Christy) of Springfield, IL and Eric Johnston (Megan) of Waukee, IA; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dale Johnston, Kaylynne Johnston, Madeline Johnston, Kate Johnston, Lexi Johnston, Beckham Johnston, Cohen Johnston, Andrew Cress and Megan Hartke (Cole).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Howe & Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Saving Orphaned Animals or American Cancer Society.
