She was predeceased by: her parents, John Woolard and Evelyn Woolard (Hughes); her daughter Debbie Dunaway Reid; her stepdaughter Carolyn Sue Luttrell; and her brothers, Johnny, Albert, Joe and Tommy.
She is survived by: her husband Dwight Phares; her son David Dunaway (Sandra); her son-in-law Brad Reid of Wilmington, NC; her stepsons, Larry Phares (Laureen) of Arizona and Ronald Phares (Debbie) of Springfield, IL; her stepson-in-law Bill Luttrell of Woodstock, IL; and her sister Margaret Willson of Pana, IL. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Howe & Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the Findlay United Methodist Church.
