He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dudley and Maude Williams Woods; his siblings, Leonard Woods (Eileen), Dale Woods (Freda), Gene Woods, Kenneth Woods and Barbara Phelps (Gene); his brother-in-law Gregg Long; and his stepmother Velma Banasiewicz.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Dean Woods (Mari) of Williston, VT, Billy Joe Woods of Shelbyville, IL and Dale W. Woods of Reno, NV; his half-sisters, Margaret Long of Shelbyville, IL and Dorothy Bly of Shelbyville, IL; his sisters-in-law, Veda of Shelbyville, IL. and Carol Woods of Shelbyville, IL.; his grandchildren, Nicole, Jessica, Carmen, Jason, Amy, Vanessa, Bruce and Jenny; and his great grandchildren, Cohen, Judah, Cadence and Brielle.
Memorials may be given to the Shelby County Honor Guard or St. Lebree Orphanage in Montana.
