She was predeceased by: her sister Shiela R. Shiels Davis. She is survived by: her siblings, Charles F. Shiels (Karen) and Reta Mae Baker Rezinas; her sister-in-law Beverly Shiels; her goddaughters, Valerie Kramer and Tricia Roman; her husband Floyd Eugene Getz; her stepfather Guy W. Baker; her siblings, Orville I. Shiels, Richard Shiels and Mary Margaret Shiels Stout; and her goddaughter Melissa Wheeler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

In honor of Cecelia's lifelong commitment to her faith and community, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Shelbyville.
