Kenneth Riggs Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Riggs of Sheffield, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Riggs and Gladys Riggs (Lundeen); his former wife Gladys "Susie" Riggs; and his brothers, Vernon and Danny Riggs.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn West of Sheffield; his children, Kevin Riggs (Maria) of Rock Falls, David Riggs (Jane) of Sheffield, Kerry Riggs (Ivy) of Boca Raton, FL, Randall Riggs (Sandi) of Lake Worth, FL and Lori Stone (Tom) of Sheffield; his grandchildren, Jessie Riggs, Amber Biggs (Ryan), Heather Wold (Adam), Kalyn Riggs, Maddi Riggs, Angie Fisher (Chad), Allison Behrens (Brandon) and Natalie Munoz (Miguel); his great grandchildren, Carson Fisher, Kenzi Fisher, Beckham Behrens, Emory Behrens, Jack Biggs, Charlotte Wold, Mia Munoz and Rosalie Munoz; his stepsons, David West (Kim) of Homer Glen, Rick West (Sheri) of Rock Island, Tony West of Crystal Lake, Pat West (Lisa) of Rock Island and Mike West (Cathy) of Naperville; his stepgrandchildren, Gianna Thomas (Erik), Katrina West, Jason West (Sarah), Tara Trasatti (Dominic), Mindi Taylor (Bill), Abbey White (Adam), Aaron Sweeney (Hayley), Missy Sweeney, Adam West (Mindy), Emily Paxson (Ky), Shawn West, Drew West (Kelly), Kelsey West and Zachary West; his stepgreat-grandchildren, David West, Evelyn West, Amelia West, Owen White, Scarlett White, Cooper Sweeney, Berkley Sweeney, Avery West, Stella West, Emmett Paxson, Emmie Paxson, Tommy West and Madelyn West; and his siblings, James Riggs (Debbie) of St. Augustine Beach, FL and Janet Heidenreich of Walnut. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
