It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadine Figurin of Sheffield, Illinois, born in Taylor Ridge, Illinois, who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marcus and Mabel Crawford (Gaston); her sisters, Zylphia Collen (Bob), Betty Lovell (Jim), Myrtle Stewart (Don), Alberta Rosso (Rodney), Miona Peterson (Wayne) and Harriett Standguard; and her brothers-in-law, Ned Grover and Vernon Theisen.
She is survived by: her husband Tony Figurin; her children, Roger Figurin (Lynn) and Denise Axel (Mark); her grandchildren, Erica Leigh (Zach), Adam Figurin (Katie), Emma Axel (Jacob), Anna Ross (Tom) and Adam Axel (Amanda); her sisters, Dorothy Grover of Reedsburgh, WI, Mary (Iverson) and Charlene Theisen of Rockford, IL; and her brother-in-law Alex Strandguard of Coal Valley, IL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
