He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sharp and Sadie Pearl Sharp (Gordon); and his children, Ruby Pearl Tipton and Charles Wayne Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Elsie May Sharp of Shawneetown; his children, Laverne Jackson of Metropolis, Joanne Barger of Shawneetown, Wanda Sharp of Shawneetown, Dianne Sharp of New Martinsville and Bobby Wayne (Sherri Sharp); his sisters, Isabelle Herley of Ridgway, Ruby Bolton of Indiana and Rosemary Evans of Shawneetown; and his aunt Eunice Taylor of Kentucky. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
