He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ellis and Emma Ellis (Leavell); his son Aaron Ellis; and his siblings, Robert, Lawrence, Ernie, John Ellis and Marie Sisk.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Ellis of Shawneetown; his daughters, Paula McSwain (Roger) of Lincolnton and Shawnna McCool (Tom) of Newburgh, Indiana; his grandchildren, Caleb McSwain, Rachel Grigg (Ryan), Abigail McSwain, Jordan McCool (Naomi) and Joshua McCool; and his great grandchildren, Hannah Grigg and Daniel Grigg.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vickery Funeral Chapel (274 W Marshall Ave, Shawneetown, IL 62984). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Donations in Paul David's memory may be made to the New Life Christian Center.
